The International Erasmus Games 2026 are approaching, and we are thrilled to open the next phase of preparations!

To ensure smooth planning, we are opening the Pre-Registration Phase, allowing National Organisations (NOs) and Local Sections (LSs) to indicate their interest in participating.

This edition of the IEG will take place in Porto, Portugal, from 28th May to 31st May 2026.

The current participation fee options are:

1. 150 EUR - with accommodation included

2. 100 EUR - without accommodation and breakfast

The OC, recommends you to stay with everyone in the provided accommodation as it will definitely be cheaper due to a group discount. Either way, before the opening of the final registrations we will provide you more information regarding the accommodation the OC has as well as other hostels options that you can try to reach out.

PRE-REGISTRATION PHASE

Pre-registrations are NOT the official registrations, but an initial step to help us estimate participation. Official registrations will occur during the Confirmation Phase, from 14 March to 13 April 2026.

Please note that the Confirmation Phase will be based on Pre-Registrations, meaning that only those who complete this phase will be able to proceed with the official registration later. If you do not pre-register now, you will not be able to sign up during the Confirmation Phase.

By pre-registering, you help us organise logistics, allocate competition slots, and better manage the event experience for all participants.

If your Local Section wishes to participate independently (without a National Organisation), you can also apply in the following forms. If your Section did not organise any or is going to organise an event after the deadline, be assured. This does not disqualify them from applying to participate in the IEG directly.

REGISTRATIONS FOR INDIVIDUALS

During the Confirmation Phase, ESN volunteers will have the opportunity to register even if they are not part of a pre-formed team. They may be assigned to teams that need additional players.

Travel information: Arrival day is Thursday 7th of May, and departure day is Sunday 10th of May. The Anniversary Event will take place on Friday the 8th. Sessions will last until around 16:00 on Sunday, so please plan your travels accordingly.

     Basic Information     

If you don't know yet, the Erasmus National Meeting (ENM) is the largest national event organized by ESN Portugal. Every year, we bring together more than 500 International Students for 4 unforgettable days in Algarve, where beach vibes during the day meet epic night events, sports competitions, the legendary Flag Parade and much more.

This year's edition will take place from 30th April to 3rd May 2026, and we're preparing an experience filled with even more surprises, energy and moments you'll still be talking about after the semester ends. 

This isn't just another event... it's ENM! It's the moment everyone talks about! Four days of energy, connection and unforgettable stories waiting to happen in Algarve.

Registrations will be open from 23rd February (already next mondayyy!!) to 22nd March.

During this period, you will be able to:

 Register for Erasmus National Meeting 2026
Register for the bus transportation for the Waterpark (8€ extra)
 Sign up for one of the two optional extra activities (they take place at the same time):
  • Parasailing
  • Benagil Caves boat tour

All registrations (event, transport and extras) require a valid ESNcard and must be completed within this timeframe. We will be sharing the registration forms soon!

The participation fee for ENM 2026 is: 205€

Are you in, or are you going to miss the most unforgettable event of the year? 

 You are invited to our National Platform III, in Brussels, from the 2nd of May to the 3rd of May 2026!

You will meet volunteers from other sections and all other volunteers of ESN Belgium. We will discuss strategic matters, update you about everything happening on the international and national level, have interesting workshops and much more! We will also elect our next national board and national coordinators, so it'll be extra spicy !

One of the most sought-after training events (with the fanciest venue) in our Network is taking place again this May! It is with great excitement that we open the call for participants for the Study Session "Mental Health & Well-Being without Borders”!  

A Study Session is an international educational youth event which brings together members of youth organisations or networks and experts for discussions on a specific subject leading to conclusions relevant to the priorities and programmes of the Council of Europe Youth sector. 

The topic of this Study Session “Mental Health & Well-Being without Borders” aims at empowering participants to take actions towards fostering mental health and wellbeing among international young people by creating spaces for discussions and designing future plans for action.

A study session is a 6-day training event with sessions throughout the day, so it is advised that participants do not work on other things during the event to be able to fully participate. Only those who participate in the full duration of the programme will receive a certificate and travel reimbursement.
Key Dates:

• Arrival date for the participants: 17.05.2026

• Training dates: 18.05.2026 - 23.05.2026 - 6 full training dates

• Departure date for the participants: 24.05.2026

Please keep in mind that it is mandatory to be present for the full duration of the training in order to receive a certificate and travel reimbursement.

Location:

The Study Session will take place at the European Youth Center in Budapest, Hungary. 

Participation fee

The participation fee is €50, and it includes accommodation at the European Youth Centre in Budapest, breakfasts, warm meals and coffee breaks for the six days of the event. 

Travel costs of all participants will also be covered (through the standard reimbursement procedure of the European Youth Center of Budapest). 

Participant's profile:

We are looking for a widely geographically representative group of 35 participants with basic knowledge of ESN as a whole (services/events provided to students, internal meetings and structure at all levels, roles of leadership, etc.) and experience in both participating and organising events (either internal or for exchange students). To gather a group with a broad perspective of ESN and with the ability to implement the recommendations in different levels of our structures, in the final selection of participants, we would like to have the following representation:

• Volunteers active on the local level and/or in the Local Boards;

• Members of National Boards and other decision-making bodies at the national level;

• Leadership/management positions in ESN International (project teams, Committee Chairs/Coordinators, Community Managers, Board, etc.);

• Facilitators/coordinators of training or decision-making events;

The Council of Europe and ESN welcomes applications from all candidates who fulfil the above-mentioned profile, irrespective of gender, disability, marital or parental status, racial, ethnic or social origin, colour, religion, belief or sexual orientation.

Approval

After the registration period has closed, we will assess all the applications and approve the selected participants on ERS. The selection will be mainly based on individual motivation to attend the event, concrete plans to multiply the learnings of the event in your local communities, while at the same time trying to put together a group with diverse experience on the topic, gender balance and geographical distribution. Every participant receives a confirmation email once they are approved, with instructions about the next steps.

More detailed information about the travel reimbursement will be sent to the participants selected for the event, upon their selection.
